Hand Crafted Barnwood Frames

About Back In Time Frames

Back In Time Frames originally began in 1988 as a part-time wholesale business on a Montana ranch a few miles south of Saskatchewan, Canada.  In 1993, the wholesale business was expanded, and it also began to include retail sales.  Now a full-time enterprise with 7 employees and supplying framed art to over 500 merchandisers and many, many more retail customers, Back In Time Frames is a well established and well respected business in Havre, Montana.  Double click here for more information on our frames.

Custom Framers of Western Art

Back In Time Frames is a manufacturer of custom old wood picture frames.  We also frame art from many western and regional artists whose work is enhanced by the quality and originality of old wood frames.  Our wood comes from barns, corral fences, out buildings--anything that has old weathered wood.  In fact, Back In Time Frames is involved in every step of the manufacturing process, from razing the barn to shipping out the finished product--each frame produced with individual care.

About Our Framed Art

Back In Time Frames specializes in the sale of art framed in barnwood or oak-and-barnwood.  We specialize in art which looks distinguished in our frames.  And, because we're in northern Montana, it is mostly Western art.  Many of the artists we feature--Don Greytak, Kim Reinmuth, Bernie Brown, Kim Kafka, Dave Maloney, Guy Rowbury, and Brian Morger--are award-winning artists living within a few hundred miles of us.  Others--Tim Cox, Milton Lewis, Doug Stevens, Paul Cameron Smith, and Pat Baker--are well known throughout the west for their art.  To see samples of the artwork we carry, check out our Directory of Artists
